Sauces & Dips
Sauces and dips recipes. Here you will find my proven recipes for everything that is liquid, and yet you eat it - not drink. Properly prepared dip or sauce can completely change the character of the whole dish or snack, so it is worth spending those few minutes longer on additional preparation.
Sauces and dips are a great addition to grilled meats - sausage, chicken, pork, beef - or for parties - to nachos, chips, crackers, and even bread (and toast). They are fun, easy, and quick to make.
Are sauce and dip the same thing? Generally speaking, no. The sauce is an integral part of the dish and most often the dish - e.g. meat - is prepared together with it. The dip is an additive in which you, later on, eat the mace immediately before the bite is absorbed. And although sauce and dip are not the same, they are often used similarly and interchangeably.
To make it easier for yourself to make sauces and dips, it's worthwhile to stock up on the necessary dishes - a bowl (of medium size) and something to stir, like a spoon. Some sauces are made cold, but some are made hot, so a good stove may be necessary.
